Proposal Could Land Guns In Idaho Public Schools
Many schools have safety precautions like fire alarms and sprinkler systems. Could firearms be next on that list?

The school board, from time to time, to authorize specific individuals to possess certain firearms or other equipment on school property, at school-sponsored or school-related events, and at board meetings.
The proposal affects all schools in the Mountain View school district, including Elk, Grangeville, and Kooskia.
Representatives from the Garden Valley school district will be present at a presentation for the proposal. They already have their own weapons policy.
