Smoke from the Walker Fire forced BSU's football team and sports teams in the West Ada and Boise School districts indoors on Monday.  The air quality has still not improved.

The DEQ has issued another red air quality advisory for both Ada and Canyon Counties on Tuesday.  It will remain in effect until air quality conditions have improved significantly.  The air is considered unsafe for everyone but pose special danger to kids, the elderly and those suffering from respiratory problems like asthma.

They suggest avoiding prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity and trying to car pool, not idling your vehicle and fueling your car later in the day if possible.

The Walker is now estimated at 3500 acres and is burning away from structures in the Grimes Creek area.
