The X Games will bring the world's top athletes to this INVITE-ONLY Park Qualifier starting Friday at Rhodes Skate Park.

This will be the second time the X Games has chosen Boise for this popular event and it's gonna be one busy Father's Day Weekend in the Treasure Valley. Let's check out the details.

What is the X Games? Say hello to the extreme sports competitions that include skateboarding and BMX racing this weekend in our very own Boise, Idaho. This is what you might call a qualifying round for competitors in Boise to win their final invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Needless to say, this is a big weekend for competitors invited.

The events are free and open to everyone, but you'll need tickets for bleacher seats. There will be live music and local bands to host Friday and Saturday. Everything will be streamed through X Games Facebook page.
