Snapchat Update Giving Cheaters A Free Pass?

First Facebook and Instagram went down for 50 minutes spawning the #facebookdown hashtag.  Then Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram got hacked.  The third blow to social media this week?  The new Snapchat update that people think will give less than faithful significant others a free pass at cheating!

I didn't realize what had changed until a friend sent me a text asking where her "Best Friends" on Snapchat went.  I hadn't received the updated version quite yet, so I thought she was crazy...but just hours later I realized that the "Best Friends" feature on the app was totally gone.

Now maybe it's because I've been single the entire time I've actually had a Snapchat account, but I didn't realize how much of a tragedy the loss of this feature was.  Apparently people in relationships would frequently check out their SO's "Best Friends" list to see the top three users they were sending pictures to and assume if they didn't know one of those BFFs, their bae must be cheatin'.  Talk about trust issues!
