No. No. No! Say it ain't so!

A winter storm watch is in effect for the Treasure Valley from 5 a.m. on Thursday morning till Friday evening during the evening commute.  The National Weather Service is calling for 1-2 inches in the Upper Treasure Valley, 4-6 inches in the lower Treasure Valley and 8-12 inches in the mountains.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the mountains to continue to get snow so that Bogus can have a kick ass year, but I can't do it down here in the Valley anymore.  As a runner, I'm tired of being stuck on the treadmill or having to wear my YakTrax anytime I try to run outside.  My friend and I went for a run in the neighborhood between Bown Crossing and Barber Park and I feel so bad for the people living back there. It looks like there's been no snow removal there since the first round of snow hit.

The only place I'm excited to find out there's more snowfall in the forecast? McCall! They're expecting 3-5 inches of snow on Friday, 1-3 on Saturday and 1-3 on Sunday, the final day of Winter Carnival!
