Three separate highways in Idaho are getting their speed limit raised, so buckle up!

U.S. 20, Idaho 22 and Idaho 28 are all getting their 50mph signs replaced with 70mph signs in the very near future.

The Idaho Transportation Department notes that most drivers to between 70mph and 80mph on those roads currently, and increasing the speed limit can result in fewer crashes.

Just a heads up Speed Racer: The speed limits will remain the same until the speed limit signs are replaced to reflect the updated speeds.
