Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic Shines on Day One
The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic held up to perfect conditions on day one. Check out some photos from Kid’s day and there’s also a link to the daily event schedule below.
Here are a few questions I was asked this morning that might help you.
Can we fly in a hot air balloon? It’s too late to go on a flight with any of the balloons. Scott Spencer and his team have to submit names to the FAA ahead of time. You can always get in contact with someone on their website to set up something for the future.
What is a tethered flight and can we participate? A tethered flight is safe and secure. The pilot and their team tie down the balloon but inflate to its full capacity. The team will allow kids to come stand in the basket for a photo op.
How much does it cost and how do you sign-up? It’s free! This entire week will be free to the public and that’s the coolest thing about the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. This event is about the family.
