Steelheads Host Teddy Bear Toss Saturday

The Idaho Steelheads will host their 17th annual “Teddy Bear Toss” during their game against the Alaska Aces on Saturday, December 13th at 7 PM.

That means fans should bring a plush, unbreakable toy to the game with them. When the Steelies score their first goal, fans throw those stuffed animals on the ice and all of the toys are donated to the United States Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” campaign!

If you don’t have a chance to grab a toy before the game, you can purchase one from the Idaho Steelheads Booster Club in the Lobby at Century Link Arena. Over the past 17 years the Steelheads, Booster Club and UMSC have collected over 20,000 toys and raised $32,000 dollars. Spread the word to your friends and help fuel an incredible holiday tradition in the Treasure Valley!
