Stranded Horse Rescued by Helicopter in McCall

Snowpocalypse isn't just affecting our daily drive.

Idaho's wildlife is struggling with the snowy conditions as well.

The horse in question was stuck on a mountain in McCall, and volunteers from Idaho Horse Rescue had to use extreme measures. They were forced to fly in a rescue helicopter and airlift the animal to safer ground. Idaho Horse Rescue is currently nursing the animal back to health, and they say it wouldn't have survived out in the cold much longer.
