4th of July

Some people around our building were discussing firework safety earlier this week and I started to wonder...how much do I really know about safely using them?

There are camping spots still open for the 4th of July. Some even include a view of your own fireworks show. Shhh...don't reveal the secret.

After McCall banned alcohol from North Beach, Crouch became THE destination to party hard for the 4th of July!  The New York Post even got a hold of video from last year's celebration and published it on their website as "A 'Redneck' 4th of July that Kind of Makes You Proud to Be an American."

Quite a large portion of Ann Morrison Park has been under water for months thanks to the Boise River spilling over its banks.  Even though the flooding has begun to subside, its not enough to save the city of Boise's annual fireworks display.

Stay tuned...your annual 4th of July plans at Ann Morrison Park may be changed. With the flooding, the park is so soggy that laying down your blanket and hanging out all day long is looking less appealing and do-able.
