Downtown Boise

I was at the Steelheads game and walked by the aftermath of the whole situation. I have an update from the Boise Police about last nights shooting in downtown Boise right outside at the Grove Plaza.

It’s still a bit chilly here in Boise … but it’s not too cold for hundreds of people to strip down to their underwear and take to the streets of Downtown Boise to raise money for Neurofibromatosis awareness and research.

Cancer is a part of many of our lives. From knowing someone who has battled to battling yourself. In downtown Boise you will find a moving set of quotes and artful pieces to encourage, relate to and inspire cancer survivors and cancer warriors who are still fighting.

Drive down Front Street to get on the connector and you'll see the ongoing construction. When it's finished, that area will be known as The Warehouse Food Hall.

One thing you gotta love about Boise is the never-ending, just totally random things going on that are certainly entertaining and worth checking out. If you catch yourself in downtown Boise this weekend, check out the Idaho State Pinball Championship going down at Woodland Empire Ale Craft. I can’t believe this is a real thing, but I’m loving it.

It has been years since I saw a live hockey game and felt the rush of the ice brawls and heard the intense hockey crowds, until tonight. I must say Boise you sure know how to get down. The Idaho Stealheads are impressive and a lot of fun to watch.

You won't believe what Uber drivers are doing to make more money.

The underground tunnels are mostly used by government and state employees. The tunnels go under streets, sidewalks and buildings mostly in and around the capitol in downtown Boise. Most of the original paintings are dated from 1986, 1987, and 1988. The original art has been hiding from the public in these underground tunnels for close to 35 years. I felt drawn to share them and hopefully get a few stories from the artists.
