I ran out to the Greenbelt on Thursday to catch some photos of the high rising Boise River. I saw something that warmed my heart and made me feel proud. I wanted to thank these men and women for what they do.
Each state has a "must see" location or landmark. In California, it's Alcatraz. In New York, it's Central Park. In Nevada, it's the Grand Canyon. In Idaho, the attraction is right here in the Treasure Valley.
On a sunny, 90º day in Boise you can find dozens of people jumping off this bridge in an attempt to not just cool down but also soak the people floating below it. My question is, does this bridge actually have a name?
