Could you imagine the kids waking up in the morning hoping for a snow day and they get this instead?

Boise Parks and Recreation school-based community centers will be open snow days to serve children in the 1st through 12th grade.

Where there is snow, there are delays. We'll have delay, closure and road condition updates right here.

Naturally, when Mayor Bieter declared a state of Emergency for Boise, we all panicked a little inside (some of us not-so-inside). The reason was to make sure we're all made to feel safe in this extreme weather.

Boise State University will not close the campus - regardless of how many people say it's a "snow day".  There's a reason and we can't blame them for it.

It's snowing into a Friday. There's no reason to be at work. Stay home and get cozy. I mean, um, the roads are bad so don't go in. Send your boss our excuse note but don't forget to fill it out.
