Taylor's new video for "Blank Space" is one of the greatest music videos I've ever seen.  This is by far my favorite song on 1989 because Taylor's grown up and learned enough tough love lessons to poke fun at herself while putting it back on her exes.  In her liner notes for "Blank Space" she writes "There once was a girl known by everyone and no one."  It's commentary on how everyone thinks they know what it's like to date Taylor Swift based purely on the media coverage of her failed relationships.  Everyone thinks she moves to fast, gets clingy and chases men away.  Sounds familiar, doesn't it?  Like something that comes through your speakers from 5-10 AM on 103.5 KISS FM everyday? I can relate, sister!

She already laughs at herself in the lyrics about how all her exes will say she's insane but also points out that these guys tend to turn around and come back for round two with her, like to play games with her and were boys, not men.  No one really knows the truth beside Taylor (and John Mayer, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner...) The video takes Taylor making fun of herself one step further by making her look like the ex-girlfriend from hell.

Check it out! I'm definitely digging this new, stronger Taylor!
