#tbt: 1997 Beanie Baby Value Guide’s Predictions Will Shock You

Somewhere deep, deep in my dad's basement are several giant tubs of these things.  Are they actually worth something in 2016?

If this value guide was anywhere close to being correct, the collective value of all the different bears sitting on the shelves in my childhood room in Ohio would be worth thousands!  (And yes, Liberty is indeed one of the bears that is still out on display.)  Sadly, this guide couldn't be any more incorrect.

I checked eBay this morning and this little patriotic cutie is selling for the low, low price of $9.99.  Lizzy the Lizard? You can this bean filled reptile for as low as $1.45.
