The Boom is real. So many of us want to new places to eat, shop and entertain but at what price? It looks like another piece of real estate that we enjoy each Fall will be no more.

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will say goodbye to their classic Meridian location off I-84 shortly. The 21 year old Corn Maze has location has just been purchased for development and that means - bye bye Halloween memories.

That might have been a bit dramatic. The Farmstead isn't exactly going away for good it's just moving locations. I'm not even sure if it's this year or next but it's definitely happening.

The owners and staff at the Farmstead have been awesome to work with over the years. We hope to continue working with Jim Lowe and his family in the future. I'm just getting word that it looks like the Farmstead location will remain this year off I-84. I'll keep you posted for any new developments. Speaking of building - Who is coming in?

Thankfully Idaho is keeping this location local with more Treasure Valley friends from Idaho Central Credit Union. That location is going to change as you know it today with more businesses moving in that area. We can officially say the boom is moving beyond downtown Boise if you haven't already noticed.

We'll hopefully pen new memories at a location to be announced in the future but for now this is just more of a sign that this city is exploding. Cherish this Fall and tag @kissboise @kekeluv with your Farmstead memories. Do you remember Jimmy Fallon's feature on the Farmstead? Fast forward to 5:33.
