Saturday's near-fatal crash at Cars and Coffee Boise left many wondering what the cause was.

We don't have that answer yet, but police have revealed the name of the driver.

Yesterday we posted the latest updates about the incident, including what exactly police are investigating, and an official statement from the organizers of the event. Per KBOI, we now know who was operating the Porsche that was involved in the crash.

Boise Police say the driver's name is Roy L. Drennon, a 49-year-old man from Eagle. Previously we reported that no charges have yet to be filed, but Boise PD anticipate charges indeed will be filed at some point against Drennon. Those charges have yet to be determined as police wait on the results of a toxicology test to see if Drennon was under the influence of alcohol while operating his Porsche Spyder.

As we previously reported, Drennon continutes to cooperate with police as the investigation continues.
