The Dyson Airblade Spreads Germs Like Crazy

They're hands-down the coolest looking hand dryers on the planet. And according to Popular Science, the Dyson Airblade is a dirty dirty germ machine.

The whole idea behind the next generation hand dryer is to be the "Most hygienic hand dryers." A new study in the Journal Of Applied Microbiology found results that were much different.

Jet air dryers (of which the Airblade is the worst offender) spray 1,300 times more viral plaques than using paper towels does. Also, the Airblade spreads 27 times more bacteria than paper towels.

Something to think about next time you're using the restroom and have a choice when it comes to drying your mitts.
