Many Bernie supporters still want Bernie in the White House.  Those that don't want to see Trump OR Clinton there, are putting their votes into third-party candidates like Gary Johnson or Jill Stein.

There's one man, however, not far from Boise, that could change the ENTIRE landscape, and he's running as an Independent.  Evan McMullin of Utah.

Voters in Utah are loving the former CIA Operative.  In fact, Emerson College recently released a survey showing he had 31% support--leading Trump and Clinton who hold 27% and 24%, respectively.

It's a unique scenario that would put into action the fine details of electing our nations President, but it isn't impossible.  If McMullin were able to win Utah's 6 electoral votes--taking those away from Trump and Clinton, that COULD be enough to block both major party candidates from reaching the necessary 270 electoral votes. That leaves the next President of the United States up to congress.

This is when the 12th Amendment comes into place.  If this happens, the top 3 candidates (those who received the most votes) are sent to the House of Representatives.  It's an extremely complex process--but it's crazy to think that ONE guy winning ONE state and just SIX electoral votes could cause something we haven't seen in our lifetimes.

McMullin will be in Boise this weekend, as well.  Details can be found HERE.
