There’s Such a Thing as a Blue Turf Ambassador

Yes, Boise State football plays on blue turf. It's the only one. Yes, it's awesome. In fact, it's so amazing that we have blue turf ambassadors who are hired to basically represent the turf. Every day, Boise gets better. This just raised it to a whole new level. 

A group of Boise State fans have served as ambassadors at the Allen Noble Hall of Fame. They are the friendly faces who field questions about the field at Albertsons stadium. Nearly 3,500 people from about a dozen countries and all but one state (Vermont, we're looking at you), have visited the blue turf on the student-led tours.

Why is it blue? What is it made of? Will it ever change colors? Do birds really dive into the turf thinking it's water?

All of these questions are asked by out-of-towners and are answered by the ambassadors.
