    Payette Brewing Cucumber Cardamom

This summer twist on Payette's North Fork Lager hits the spot after a cruiser bike ride down to their new brewery off the greenbelt near Ann Morrison Park. It offers a refreshing cucumber finish on an already smooth, light beer.

    Highlands Hollow Berry Good Wheat

It's not easy finding Highlands Hollow beer on tap anywhere but the brew house at the base of Bogus Basin Road, so when I tell you it's worth heading to the North End to enjoy this one, believe me! Highlands Hollow doesn't filter their beers in order to leave flavor in the glass.  If you like the crisp, refreshing flavor of raspberries after a bike ride, hike or run this is the perfect summer beer for you.

    ABV: 4.6% IBU: 23

    McCall Brewing Lemon Ginger Hefeweizen

I discovered this beer during my first trip to the Whole Foods River Room many moons ago and it's still one of my favorites today.  This Hef is brewed with real lemon zest and ginger root, making it refreshing but not overly citrusy.  The best part? This one is brewed year round!

    ABV: 4.9% IBU: 20

    Grand Teton 208 Session Ale

There's a reason this beer is Idaho's beer.  It's crisp with small hints of malt and subtle citrus flavors.  Everything in this beer is 100% Idaho from the grain, to the hops and spring water used to brew it.

    ABV: 4.7% IBU: 16

    Bella Brewing Watermelon Wheat

A few summer ago I fell in love with 21st Amendment's "Hell or High Watermelon." It was my go to summer beer for the pool, the lake, the beach...  I only wished that this watermelon goodness was a local beer.  Enter Bella Brewing's Watermelon Wheat.  It's one of the beers Bella kept when it took over it's current brewery from Haff Brewing.  It's as, if not more refreshing than 21st Amendment's and brewed in Garden City!

    ABV: 4.2% IBU: 30
