Thoughts and prayers to the Family of Bruno Mars

Sad news out of Hawaii: The mother of Bruno Mars died suddenly Saturday at Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu of a brain aneurysm, a spokesperson for Mars' label revealed.

Bernadette Hernandez was 55. No other details were provided. Hernandez was a hula dancer and singer who immigrated from the Philippines and nurtured her six children's interest in music from an early age. Another son, Eric, is a brother in Bruno's band, while her four daughters are currently in a girl group.
