Thursday Quote of the Day

Today's quote is a very special and something we tend to forget. This isn't a quote, but you hear it said from time to time. I think that we lose sight of this word and it's easy to let life cloud your vision of what is happening in front of you.

We're coming up on one year from that tragic day that we had to call the ambulance to get our son. I have this video of my wife reading a Christmas book to our son as he just laid their motionless in his hospital bed. We tend to forget what we have and focus MORE on what we don't. I watched the debate last night and just got mad about the lies that are fed to us in the name of politics. I could tell you who I'm voting for, but then some of our closest listeners would turn hate filled spewing a distaste for me personally. You know those people, don't you? It's the SAME people that walk up to you with a smile that hurl the worst phrases and words through a keyboard. What happened? Kindness. Genuine respect for one another.

My quote of the day is a simple word. Blessed. Be blessed that you don't find yourself in sand-filled pit in Iraq ducking bullets. Be blessed that you are disease free. Be blessed that you can walk, talk, and see out both eyes. Be blessed that you can walk into a voting booth as a woman and choose our fate as a country with individual contribution because it's your right. Be blessed for your wife and son that give you unconditional love not know that today, is the greatest day of our life because tomorrow is NOT promised. Be blessed because your alive and reading this with the choice to do whatever you want for the rest of your life. FEEL blessed because if you're alone, I genuinely love you and you're NOT alone. Feel blessed that no matter what is happening in your life, no matter how many people don't listen to you, that you can keep telling someone until they do. Be blessed because no matter what a politician or their campaign tells you, it's your right to believe whatever you want. Finally, be blessed because there are BILLIONS of people across the world that would give THEIR life, so
