“Tiny House Big Living” Films Episode in Boise for DIY Network

Idaho and especially the Treasure Valley has been featured a lot on TV shows recently…and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down any time soon.

The winner of last year’s Survivor is from Boise. The Bachelor recently featured Crystal, a woman who worked here at Mix 106 for a short time last year. American Idol featured a woman from Boise on three of their episodes this season. And if that wasn’t enough, the Boise Boy’s, new show will debut on HGTV,  Wednesday the 25^th

Most recently, the DIY network was in Boise to film a new episode of “Tiny House Big Living. The episode aired Thursday the 12^th, but you can see re-airings of the episode about Samantha and Jake Salinas' North End tiny home.

The Salinas' 400 sq. ft. home is located on the back portion of Samantha's parent's lot. While they are living in it now, the couple just had a baby and as their family grows, they will eventually need to find a bigger home and their tiny house will then be used as a pool house or guest home.

The Salinas' episode of "Tiny House, Big Living" will air again on DIY Network, but you might want to set your DVR, because it airs at 10:30 p.m. Thursday April 19^th  and 1:30 a.m. on Friday, April 20th.
