Many of us can still remember where we were when we received the news that a plane had struck one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City.  Today marks the 13th anniversary of the tragedies in New York, Washington DC and Shanksville, PA.  Here's where the Treasure Valley is commemorating that fateful day.

  • Veteran's Memorial Park, 4-10 PM - Proud To Be American Show & Shine Car Show
  • Knitting Factory, 7 PM - Free concert for military, police, firefighters and paramedics this evening.  No ticket is needed with a service ID.  Bands include Nothing More, Sleepwave and Crobot.

Eagle

  • Eagle Hills Golf Course, 9 AM - 9/11 Forget Golf Tournament honoring firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel who lost their lives on 9/11

Nampa

  • Fire Station No.1, 8 AM

Emmett

  • Freezeout Hill, 2 PM
