Treasure Valley MLK Jr. Day Celebrations and Closures

The nation pauses today to celebrate the life and accomplishments of American Civil Rights Movement leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Here's how you can get involved!

Boise State will honor the late activist beginning at 9 AM with a sign making party and volunteer fair in the SUB's lounge area outside the Jordan Ballroom.  At 10:15 AM Students and community agencies will then participate in a Day of Greatness march from the SUB, down University Drive to Capitol Blvd and end at the Idaho Capitol for a rally.

After the rally, a celebration put together by the Idaho Human Rights Commission will be held at noon in the rotunda.
