It just became easier to get in and out of the largest park in the Treasure Valley.

For as long as I've been alive traffic from Royal to Americana in Ann Morrison Park has been one-way. According to KTVB, it's been that way since the early 80s because Boise Parks and Rec was concerned about young drivers cruising in the park.

However, numerous Ann Morrison visitors have asked for the two-way traffic back to make it easier to get in and out of the park during float season and large events like the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic.  The police department sat down with with Parks and Rec and came to the decision that cruising isn't an issue anymore.

The two way traffic went back into effect on Wednesday, April.  The speed limit in the park remains 15 miles per hour.
