Veteran’s Day Freebies For Military This Weekend

Let's start by saying that photo with the cheese smile in the studio was me. That was during our six-month deployment on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. I ran the radio station, hosted a show and more.

I was in line at the Little Caesar's the night of Halloween to grab some pizza for everyone stopping by. There was a man dressed in uniform waiting to pick-up carry out. I wasn't able to catch him in time to pay for his pizza and I just thought he should never pay. Veteran's rank the highest on my list and that will never change. You can't put a price on freedom and that's what our military provides for us every day. Here's a list of some free things to celebrate Veteran's Day and please pass this along.

BIG AL'S - Free bowling for Veteran's and Active Military all weekend at Big Al's at the Village in Meridian.

Applebee's - Free meal on Saturday only for service members both active and inactive. Choose from one of seven items. Click HERE for items and I love their headline, "You served us, now let us serve you."

Chili's - Free meal for serving currently or inactive. Call ahead to make sure your local chilis is participating.

Olive Garden, Denny's (build your own grand slam), BJ's Restaurant, Black Angus Steakhouse (free steak dinners with sides!), Little Caesars Pizza with free hot-n-ready, Outback Steakhouse (free bloomin' onion and drink on Saturday.) Red Lobster, Red Robin (Free Red's Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries), Starbucks is offering free tall brewed coffee.

Texas Roadhouse - Free lunch, beverage, and sides on Saturday.

IHOP - Free red, white and blue buttermilk pancakes the day before Veteran's Day on Friday, November 10 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Great Clips - Free haircuts on Saturday.

National Park admission free in honor of the military on Saturday across the country to everyone.

Lowe's is giving 10% to military and families, JCP is giving you 10% from Nov 8-12, Walgreens is offering 20% off, Home Depot offers 10% off year round.
