Here's a real life quote from your boy Kekeluv. I've always felt like a person without options is an individual with unforgiving results. Someone who doesn't feel like they can move, might just make the wrong ones. This quote is for you, from me.I sat in 9th English behind the most beautiful girl ever and I was so intimidated. She knew exactly what she wanted do after high school, she was perfectly georgious and life was planned. I looked in a mirror and felt lost after class. I had NO IDEA what I wanted to be or how to even get there. This is a scary place to live, the unknown.

I started working at age 15 at a skating rink which is where I learned how to talk on a microphone, Olive Garden as a busser, Red Lobster as a server and interned for free at a new radio station. My life might of seemed like fun, but I really had no idea what I wanted to do until I walked into a Navy recruiter. THAT was the best day of my life. I NO longer felt like a lost soul. I now had options and several to choose from.

I enlisted, traveled to San Diego for boot camp, moved outside Seattle for my first base in Bremerton, was temporarily assigned to aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln for radio/television, and moved back to Washington to run the Public Affairs Department on board the USS Sacramento. That very road map is what changed the direction of the rest of my life. It all started with finding out I had OPTIONS. I can't express to you how empowering it felt to know that I wasn't alone anymore and that I could choose my own path.

Today's quote isn't really a quote, but a message to anyone that feels like they may be lost.

Your life has options. If you're a senior in high school with all that pressure and confused on what you want to do, it's okay. If you've been married and just realized this man isn't your dream, you've got options. Let's say that you've been in a very abusive marriage with children and feel trapped, you have options.

This is a longer quoted message than usual. The moral of this message is it's never too late to find yourself. We are the best we can be at our lowest point. There is something about desperation that creates motivation. Some of the most successful people became wealthy because they had no choice but to act upon their dreams. Let's look at today just like that. Don't just keep, "kickin' the can down the road." I want you to know that your job doesn't have to suck. Your marriage doesn't have to be unhappy. YOU are not in prison. Smile! You have 100% control over whatever it is that you want to do. So, DO IT. Stop complaining about it or being depressed by it. No more excuses. Let's make today the first day for the rest of your life.

Find your happiness.
