It's CRAZY how this photo hurts me and takes me back to a terrible moment. There might be smiles on faces, but the underlying feeling wasn't. The pain we went through with our son and his mysterious health conditions was definitely painful. I'm sure I can speak for both my wife and myself that this has also made us stronger. This pain has changed us and more importantly, made us BETTER parents. Actually, this situation has made us BETTER people.
