What’s Out in Theaters This Friday in Boise

There is a wide range of different movies hitting theaters this week and there’s something for everybody! Here’s the rundown on what’s coming out this week!

Independence Day: Resurgence:

This sequel to the 1996 hit film takes place two decades after the first Independence Day and stars Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth and star of the original film Jeff Goldblum.

Free State of Jones:

Matthew McConaughey stars in this civil war-set drama about a farmer from Mississippi who leads a group of rebels against the Confederate army.

The Neon Demon:

Nicholas Winding Refn, the Danish director of ‘Drive’, is back with this stylish and sexy thriller about a young model played by Elle Fanning who becomes preyed upon by her jealous rivals.

Dark Horse:

This documentary opens at The Flicks this week and centers on a group of working class friends who decide to breed a racehorse and train him to become a champion.

Genius:

Also opening at The Flicks this week, this biopic about the life of book editor Maxwell Perkins stars Jude Law, Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Laura Linney and Guy Pearce.
