Put down the PB&J.  I repeat...put down the PB&J.  The PB on that sandwich might make you sick!

According to the USA today Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and other smaller grocers are pulling a few brands of peanut and almond butters off the shelf because of possible contamination.

Those brands include Arrowhead Mills peanut butter and MaraNatha almond butters produced by nSpired Natural Foods.  The FDA says right now there are four illnesses that could be linked to the spreads.  Those illnesses are Salmonella related.

If you ate one of those brands and are experiencing diarrhea, fever or abdominal cramps, make it a point to drop into your doc.

If you have any of the contaminated peanut or almond butters, throw it away and contact nSpired foods for a replacement or refund at 1-800-937-7008.
