Wine & Chocolate Weekend Planned at Treasure Valley Wineries Just in Time for Valentine’s Day

Chocolate and Wine, Oh-So Fine!

• When: February 11th & 12th, 12-4 p.m.
• Cost: $15 online, $20 at the door
• Event: Ste. Chapelle wants you to spend the weekend with your sweetie enjoying wine, chocolate and live music in their Chateau Room! They'll be pairing their wines flights with decadent chocolate selections. Your ticket price includes the paired flight and a keepsake glass to take home. Douglas Cameron sets the mood with live music each day!

Wine, Cheese & Chocolate

• When: February 10th-12th, 12-5 p.m.
• Cost: $7 for Wineclub members, $10 for non-members
• Event: Enjoy one of the best views on the Sunnyslope from Bitner Vineyards.  If you can pull yourself away from taking Be Mine selfies and admiring the view form their hilltop patio, enjoy 5 exquisite wines paired not just with chocolates from Weiser Classic Candy Company, but gourmet cheeses as well! Bitner will be running Cupid's Wine Specials including their High Desert White, one of my favorite local wines!

• Cost: FREE
• Event: Fujishin is one of the first wineries you'll see as you roll into Caldwell's wine country and it's always our starting place when we're showing the Sunnyslope to our friends from out of town. Stop by for a complimentary tasting of four wines paired with four Brix Chocolate for Wine bites.  These chocolates are designed to pair perfectly with wine.  We tried them last year and they were amazing!

Valentines Open House

• When: February 10th-12th, 12-5 p.m.
• Cost: $5 for Wine Club members, $8 for non-members
• Event: Zhoo Zhoo and Hells Canyon was my absolute favorite stop on our 2016 Valentine's wine adventure (probably because their tasting pours were VERY generous!)  In addition to wine tastings, they'll also have an impressive amounts of sweet treats.  A stemless wine glass and your tasting is covered in your entry fee.

• Cost: $5 tasting fee (waived with bottle purchase)
• Event: Huston has several different events planned for Wine & Chocolate weekend! On Friday, they celebrate Fondue Friday, pairing wine with fondue, Saturday features Nezzy's Brazilian Sweets and Sunday is all about Valentine cupcakes!  One you've had your share of wine, stop by the photo booth with your Valentine!

• Event: Did someone say Valentines crafts?! Indian Creek is setting up a Luv Bug Wino Arts 'N Crafts Station for you to create at while you enjoy 4 specialty local chocolate pairings.  Jewelry by Celeste is also in house.

• Event: Want to try wine that no one else in the Treasure Valley has every tried? Parma Ridge is your stop! Their tasting includes unreleased wines and specialty chocolates from World Market.

Gourmet Chocolate & Wine Pairing Flights

• When: February 11th & 12th, 12-6 p.m.
• Cost: $10 wine club members, $15 non members
• Event: Love Downtown Boise's "The Chocolat Bar?" Then make your way to Sawtooth to enjoy their chocolates paired with Sawtooth's wines.
