Do you work more than 49 hours a week? A survey was taken on "workaholics"... this states that working long days can lead to alcoholism.

According to the LA Times ....."A new study published in the journal BMJ shows that people who work at least 49 hours per week are more likely to engage in “risky alcohol use“ compared to those who work 35 to 40 hours per week. Risky alcohol use was defined as 14 drinks per week for women and 21 for men, but since heavy drinkers tend to understate their consumption, the link between long work hours and big-time boozing might be greater than the study indicates. One theory as to why workaholics are bigger alcoholics is that more of them subscribe to a “work hard, play hard” philosophy, writes the L.A. Times."
