Sure, Boise prides itself on being a beer town. Whiskey may even be the first thing to come to mind when thinking about a drink synonymous with our city. But no matter how "hipster" Boise gets, the Margarita will always be my popular go to. And thanks to Applebee's we can all enjoy the south of the border staple for cheap.

To kick off the spring season, Applebees is bringing back their famous Dollaritas the entire month of April. Last year the neighborhood bar and grill offered $1 Margaritas the whole month of October and $1 Long Island Ice Teas in December, which we just had to try ourselves.

“Margaritas are extremely popular with our guests, and our Dollarita is the most refreshing drink money can buy,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s announced in a statement. “We first introduced the Dollarita to America last October, and we’re excited to bring it back in April as a reason to celebrate the return of spring.”

The margaritas will be made from their "premium tequila" and margarita mix.
