3 Great Places For Dessert In Boise on National Dessert Day
As a kid I would hang around the kitchen anytime my mom would bake just so that I could sneak a taste of the cake batter and then be the first to get the fresh baked dessert. Sometimes she was baking a cake that would have multiple levels to it so she would slice pieces off in order to get bread to the desired shape, I would eat every scrap and still be the first to get a piece of the finished product. I share this with you to give you a better understanding of why National Dessert Day is such a big deal for me. Before I share three of my favorite places to have dessert in Boise let me tell you why I’m qualified to do so, I eat dessert EVERYDAY. I have no idea why I don’t weigh 500 pounds but let’s just say that I’m a trained professional when it comes to dessert.
- Waffle Me Up – This is a Sunday tradition for me, the Waffles that Hector and the crew whip up are to die for. You can have a breakfast waffle in the Bob-A-Cado Deluxe – This is both sweet and salty and definitely considered a dessert in my book or you can go for the pure sweetness of a Waffle Me Banana.
- The Cheesecake Factory – over 30 varieties of cheesecake…Need I say more?
- Barbacoa – The ultimate dessert at Coa is not on the menu. If you wanna die by chocolate do yourself a favor and order the “Seal The Deal” All I can say is layers on layers of chocolate cake. As a matter of fact, there are so many layers that a sword is used to cut through this life changing dessert.
I’d love to hear your feedback on any of my suggestions. Happy National Dessert Day!
