This makes me so sad! My mom had a slight Hallmark obsession when I was a kid and at the height of Beanie Baby mania, I didn't mind spending hours in the store with her!

But my sweet childhood memories of spending every single penny I saved on Beanie Babies like Rover, Rufus and Mel (in the above photo) are fading away as Jordan's Hallmark announces that they'll be closing their stores in the Treasure Valley.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the Gold Crown store in the Boise Towne Square Mall will close this weekend. The other locations on Market Place Blvd in Nampa and Eagle Road in Eagle will also close, but there's no date picked at this time. All three stores will sell what's left for 75% off.  You can also purchase displays and fixtures.

The Hallmark store on Park Center Blvd that I shopped at closed earlier this year as did the Northgate Shopping Center. All five of the stores were locally owned franchises.
