It's spring in the Treasure Valley which means people are EAGER to get out and do things. I always love this time of year because even though most of us in the Treasure Valley are anxious to get out and do things around town in general, there's always a huge shift in our energy around this time of year. Give us one sunny day where a jacket isn't really necessary and good luck keeping us inside. It's that time of year when patios are full, downtown restaurants have long waits, and people just feel HAPPY. Oh, and this year...we'll probably have to get used to the re-emergence of the Lime scooters!

This said, there are plenty of things going on in town and here are my top 3 ideas!

    Ale Fort

    Behind the Owyhee Hotel

Ale Fort is one of my favorite annual events because...beer. Well, beer and cider of course. Grab a cup and some tokens and you can try out HUNDREDS of brews from HUNDREDS of breweries that you may not normally see in town. If you're 21+, this is THE SPOT this weekend.

    Sunday Funday

    Payette Brewing

I just learned about this one and it's another 21+ idea. Payette Brewing throws a weekly Sunday Funday that includes $10 bottomless mimosas...can't go wrong with that, right!? This is on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

    Jurrasic Quest

    Expo Idaho

The perfect event for kids and families as Jurassic Quest takes over Expo Idaho! Featuring large dinosaurs, rides, digging for fossil activities, and more! This is open from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday
