More Idahoans Picking Up Concealed Carry Permits

That new gun law that allows gun owners to be armed in public? It has Idahoans chomping at the bit to get a concealed carry permit.

The law (that passed earlier this year) states that most gun owners over the age of 21 can legally carry a firearm in pubic as long as it is concealed by clothing, a purse, or a holster.

Currently, around 8% of Idahoans have a concealed carry permit. Firearm experts expect that number to rise in the very near future. This isn't happening just in Idaho. Said law stands in 37 of our 50 states.

President-Elect Trump made it clear that he will defend the second amendment, so don't expect the law to be altered anytime soon.
