The COVID-19 vaccine roll out got started off to a very slow start and it seemed like there were more complaints than actual people getting vaccinated. The good news is that over the last month things have gotten so much better. Mass vaccination clinics are popping up across Idaho. St. Alphonsus, Albertson's, Walmart and a bunch more are stepping up to speed up the vaccination process.

A week ago I wrote an article about a way to get the vaccine now as opposed to waiting until your subgroup is eligible. The "No Waste Waitlist" has become a thing and it's such a great way to keep the roll out efficient, that Crush The Curve is stepping up to make sure all the available doses are used.

Today Monday the 15th, Idaho residents ages 55-64 that have at least one medical condition will be eligible to get the vaccine statewide. How do you get yours if you're not in that group?  It's as easy as going to the Crush the Curve website or calling 208-391-7036.

“A lot of people don’t want to cut in line, but they certainly don’t want to hear about COVID vaccine being thrown away either,” Crush the Curve Executive Director Tina Upson said in a ktvb interview.

If you prefer to book online hit the Crush The Curve website by clicking here and use the chat feature.

“It’ll automatically pop up and say hey we’re here do you need help finding a vaccine appointment,” Upson said in the same ktvb interview. “We’re really just trying to help people get all the way to that finish line and to that goal and the definition of success which is the vaccine.”

Where there is a will, there's a way... so if you're interested in getting the vaccine early this is one way to make it happen. Hats off to the good people at Crush The Curve, Thanks for making a positive difference.
