Welp, this is probably the beginning of the end.

A cat in Clark County has tested positive for the plague.

Remember when we told you that some dead rodents tested positive for the plague? Well now a cat in Eastern Idaho was discovered to have the deadly disease.

Luckily, the kitty recovered and is doing fine. Again, the plague IS treatable if found in early stages. The last person in Idaho to contact the plague was way back in 1992. That person fully recovered as well.

While the thought of a cat surviving the plague is in itself a little silly, the affliction is not to be taken lightly. Click here to check out the telltale signs of the plague in both animals and humans, and how to treat it.
