Technically, an inversion is "a deviation from the normal change of an atmospheric property with altitude". You've never seen one like this though.

Maybe the extreme winter has been a distraction from the yearly inversion that typically happens at this time and makes life pretty grey. Good news on all fronts: We have brighter days ahead!

The Inversion crushing the Treasure Valley has mentally been depressing!  I can't say it's made me crazy, but there have been a lot of people struggling.  So, where is the sun?????  Well, it's still in the same place :-)  You just have to be a bit creative!
