Some of the most prolific attacks on our country in modern history happened today, 17 years ago

Over the past two months, my running club, Team Run Boise, has had the incredible privilege of getting to know Tony Torres and his friends from Team Red, White and Blue.  They're putting together a one of a kind tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001 and need your help to make it happen.

Grab a tissue.  There hasn't been a single time that we've played this September 11th tribute and haven't teared up.  Today we pause to honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the terror attacks in NYC, Washington D.C. and Shanksville, PA on 9/11/01 and the bravery of the first responders at Ground Zero.

Many of us can still remember where we were when we received the news that a plane had struck one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City.  Today marks the 13th anniversary of the tragedies in New York, Washington DC and Shanksville, PA.  Here's where the Treasure Valley is commemorating that fateful day.
