The First Movie Theater Opens This Weekend With $3 Dollar Shows

The Governor spoke Thursday advancing our city into stage 3 that includes some new changes. The temperatures on Friday and Saturday will hit close to 100 degrees which opens the doors for several local businesses.

Roaring Springs will open on Saturday with a very in-depth plan that has been planned for months. They spent $350,000 on systems to kill viruses and that doesn't include the chorine factor that kills viruses as well. There is no doubt that if you want to enjoy splashing in the heat, Roaring Springs will be ready.

Don't need all that hotness? Governor Little announced upgrading movie theaters from stage 4 to stage 3 which gives them the green light to open this weekend.

After consultation with movie theater operators and our public health team, we decided to movie up the opening of movie theaters by two weeks from stage 4 to stage 3 beginning Saturday.

Who is moving forward with the opening? Overland Park Cinemas is planning to give Idahoans the opportunity to escape the heat and sit inside for a movie for the first time in months. The best part is the price in my opinion. Look what is playing on Saturday for a whopping $3 dollars for adults, $2 for children/students/seniors, and $1 all-day Tuesdays.
