Thousands Raised For Injured Boise Police Officer – Vigil Being Held on Tuesday

It's going to be a long recovery for a Boise Police officer critically injured in Friday's shooting on the Boise Bench. A GoFundMe page has been created to help with hospital bills.

As written on the GoFundMe page:  On 11/11/2016, a Boise Police Officer was shot multiple times during the apprehension of a violent felon.  The Officer sustained significant injuries and will require long term medical care.  The Officer is currently hospitalized and will be off duty for an extended period of time.  The Officer’s professional and personal life will be impacted.
