When there's a need, the Treasure Valley and the greater State of Idaho seems to always rise to the occasion. There's ALWAYS a need-- but in these times we're living in, it seems now more than ever there is a significant need across the board.

COVID-19 has sent waves of strong uncertainty and instability through the entire nation and world. Unfortunately, children and the most vulnerable have been impacted the most.

Did you know that there are grants available here in the State of Idaho that could sign over up to $3,500 per family for needed school supplies.

As the website of the Strong Families, Strong Students program states:

Idaho families are facing many challenges as they are forced to rapidly adapt to changing circumstances in their children’s education because of COVID-19. Through the Strong Families, Strong Students program Idaho families are provided access to grant funds to help with their students learning.

And further elaborates:

[Strong Families, Strong Students] Is a grant program funded by Idaho’s Coronavirus Relief Funds, which provides Idaho students access to grant dollars that can be used to purchase educational goods and services that their families decide their students need.

Enrollment for these funds opened today (October 21, 2020) and closes on December 15th, 2020. School supplies aren't cheap and if you or a family you know could use the help, this is a massive resource.

The money from these grants cover a lot: fees associated with classes, supplies, materials, tutoring services, and even counseling from approved vendors.
