Today's quote comes from a Carrie Underwood song considering she killed it at the Taco Bell Arena Tuesday night. I thought to share this inspirational piece that others thought was a bit too risky. You be the judge.

Carrie Underwood is the one female country singer that might just be the most recognizable and most crossover artist in country music. I'm no country expert, but that's just my opinion. I've watched her humble rise to the top, and one song that always seems to stop me in my tracks is, "Jesus take the wheel."

"After I released 'Jesus, Take the Wheel', people started saying, Oh, it's kind of risky. You're coming out with a religious song. And I was thinking, Really? I grew up in Oklahoma, I always had a close relationship with God. I never thought it was risky in the least. If anything, I thought it was the safest thing I could do." - Carrie Underwood.

I too have a close relationship with God and love this song. Everyone needs someone to believe in. It doesn't matter which God or who you trust. The most important thing is the realization that you can't always do it alone. Life is unforgiving and for some reason, it seems like when things are bad, they get worse all at once. Unload those problems on to someone else that can help bear the burden. We don't do anything in life alone, and if we do, we're just making it harder on ourselves. Just remember this, tell someone until you find the right person to listen.
