Work At 103.5 KISS FM
103.5 Kissfm is Boise's #1 Hit Music Station. We just promoted our afternoon/apd to brand manager in a sister TSM cluster and we're looking for more talent! Kissfm needs to hire someone(s) yesterday to fill nights and help take this already #1 ranked radio station to another level.
What makes Kissfm different?
We attack promotions unlike any other radio station and prepare for the unexpected. The strength of the station is obviously the music, but the promotional giveaways really attract the masses. Take the jocks off the station and 103.5 Kissfm can entertain a city by itself.
You might already know Kissfm is community driven, live/local and always tries to reach beyond boundaries. Are you someone who can help bring something new to an already passionate and creative team? What makes you unique?
Make sure you have a current demo and resume to send. Still looking for someone to get our attention and claim this opportunity. We're ready to book your flights, sign contracts and put you in the club!
When you become part of the family at 103.5 KISS FM, you become an essential part of some of the coolest events in and around the Treasure Valley. These events are what drives 103.5 KISS FM, but they're just a glimpse of what we're part of day in and day out in our community!
Live For 175
Originated hearing after a horrific child abuse case in Spokane, WA where Kekeluv was working at the time, Live for 175 is 103.5 KISS FM's annual Child Abuse Prevention campaign. Each April, Keke broadcasts live for 175 hours calling attention to the problem and talking with victims and survivors of abuse. During past campaigns Keke's stayed awake for 175 hours, ran seven marathons in seven days and lived on a billboard. The idea is to do something crazy to capture the community's attention and get them talking about child abuse prevention.
The most recent campaigns carried the theme "Cycle to Break the Cycle" where thousands of 103.5 KISS FM listeners selflessly gave up their time to come pedal bicycles that powered the radio station and kept the message "it shouldn't hurt to be a child" on the air.
Boise Music Festival
When the Boise River Festival ended in 2002, the Treasure Valley lost it's biggest music festival. 103.5 KISS FM brought it back in 2010! Leading up to the Boise Music Festival the station blows out thousands of free concert tickets so that 80,000 of our closest friends can party with us at Expo Idaho during this huge one day concert. Boise Music Festival headliners have included Train, Jason Derulo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Vanilla Ice, LL Cool J, MC Hammer, Bret Michaels, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Backstreet Boys, Karmin and more! The day also includes more that four local stages, carnival, beer gardens and food vendors.
Each October, 103.5 KISS FM teams up with local corn maze and pumpkin farm, The Farmstead for "Pumpkin Smash." Leading up to Pumpkin Smash, the station gives away 103 invites to the party at the Farmstead. Those invitations guarantee the winners a prize when they smash open a pumpkin at the party and admission for them and a guest to enjoy the day at the Farmstead. In 2013, 103.5 KISS FM blew out over $10,000 at Pumpkin Smash with prizes like cash, Kindle Fire HDXs, concert tickets, fly-aways and more!
It's Pumpkin Smash in the summer! Instead of winners smashing open squash, they dropped water balloons from the top of Roaring Springs Water Park's newest 6-story water slide. Prizes included a front row trip to see One Direction at the Rose Bowl, weekend in Seattle to see Beyonce and Jay-Z's On The Run Tour, Proof Eyewear sunglasses, concert tickets and more.
Over the years, 103.5 KISS FM's KISSmas party morphed from an actual party to on-air prize blow out. In the weeks leading up to Christmas the station will reveal prizes to be given at certain times throughout the day so listeners can call for the gifts they really want. Those gifts have included X Box One, Playstation 4, Sephora Make-Up Glam Packs, Kindle Fire HDx, concert tickets, cash and more!
Big Summer Stick
Each Summer 103.5 KISS FM hosts the biggest parking lot party in the Treasure Valley! The first 300 cars in line that put a KISS FM rear window sticker on their cars receive a pair of Boise Music Festival tickets for everyone in the car as well as some free gifts/food from our sponsors!
4th Of July In McCall
4th of July means a road trip for 103.5 KISS FM! Each summer we pack up the station for a few days of sun and sand on North Beach in McCall, a small resort town located about 2 hours outside Boise. When the sun goes down, the station takes over the biggest 4th of July party in Downtown McCall at the Yacht Club!
FitOne/Race For The Cure
103.5 KISS FM is proud to be the media sponsor of two of the largest foot races in the Treasure Valley: The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure benefiting Komen Idaho and FitOne benefiting St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic
Another piece of the Boise River Festival 103.5 KISS FM helped bring back to the Treasure Valley were hot air balloons over Boise. Each August the station helps host the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, a free family event that features over 50 gorgeous hot air balloons launching from Ann Morrison Park. The event also includes a night glow where the balloons are grounded and lit up to music.
