Last night's game was frustrating, if nothing else. Had an extra point NOT been blocked, Boise State could have been looking at a conference championship and a little bit of a bigger bowl game. Instead? Boise State's fate was a little unknown. Of course, with their record, they had already secured bowl eligibility--but who would pick up the Broncos?

Just announced this afternoon: Boise State will be headed to Dallas to take on Boston College. It will be a showdown for sure, at the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl on December 26th at 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time.

This isn't the first time these two teams have been matched up for a bowl game. I remember well, the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl here in Boise when Boise State lost due to a poor pass and interception from Jared Zabransky. See that game, below.
