Popular Police Chase Series On Patrol: Live Filming In Idaho

This is huge news in my house because we love watching true crime documentaries, police arrest videos, and medical response shows. One of our recent favorites has been the show On Patrol: Live.

The show is great for so many reasons and we have a new reason to watch: the show will be filming in Idaho this weekend.

On Patrol: Live Will Be Airing Episodes Filmed in Idaho Falls

On Patrol: Live (OPL) announced on social media that this weekend, Friday and Saturday, their crew will be riding along with the Idaho Falls Police Department. The show features real 911 calls, real officers, and it isn’t scripted. Since these episodes will be from Idaho, there’s a chance you’ll see someone you know.

Rightly so, there are some people worried that community members might intentionally break the law this weekend for a chance on being on the show. Others seem to think there will be less crime since the community knows the police will be out looking for the bad guys to feature on the show. Hopefully you aren’t one of the people featured on the show.

If you don’t subscribe to Reelz or Peacock, you may have to wait a while, but episodes of OPL stream on The Roku Channel, PLEX, Amazon, and others. OPL social media pages are also updated with featured clips.

Idaho isn’t new to being featured on police shows. There have been at least 9 episodes of COPS that showed crimes committed in Idaho.

What do you think will happen in Idaho Falls with the arrival of the OPL crew: more crime or less?
